Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a rustic hideaway located within several acres of natural forestland and approximately 15 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions include Disney's Magic Kingdom® and Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Parks. Ferries and buses provide transportation to all Walt Disney World® Resort areas.
Aspiring cowpokes can mosey-on-over to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch & Farm to engage in horseback and pony rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, and a farm full of gentle critters. Rent a bike or an electric cart, or simply jog through the nature trails and appreciate the unspoiled scenery. Down by the sands of Bay Lake Beach, guests may catch a few rays or rent a kayak or motorized boat. Two outdoor pools provide a way to beat the heat, and children will enjoy the four playgrounds and two video arcades. Tennis courts are also located on site (equipment not provided). After the sun goes down, Chip 'n Dale will stop by to keep the festivities going with a campfire sing-a-long and an outdoor viewing of a classic Disney film.
